Dental Savings Plan Exclusions and Limitations
Patients must remain a plan member for the duration of the treatment to retain savings plan benefits. This program is a savings plan, not a dental insurance plan, and is secondary to any other dental plan. The Acre Wood Dental savings plan cannot be used:
- In conjunction with another dental plan
- For services for injuries covered under workman’s compensation
- For treatment, which, in the sole opinion of the treating dentist or doctor, lies outside the realm of their capability
- For referrals to specialists
- For hospitalizations or hospital charges of any kind
- For the costs of dental care that are covered under automobile medical insurance
- In conjunction with coupons or cash discounts
The Acre Wood Dental savings plan is only honored at Acre Wood Dental; it is not an insurance plan that can be used with any other dental office. Additional program guidelines include:
- No credit or refund on any lost or destroyed certificates
- No other discounts may be applied with the savings plan
- There is no expiration date to redeem membership certificates
- Membership is not for resale
- Membership is valid for one year after redemption
- The patient’s portion of the bill is due at the time of service
